  • Same for me …

    Here for me :

    wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpseo_dashboard#top#features
    > Security: no advanced settings for authors

Can confirm this fixes the missing advanced button.

However, if you have 80+ sites this is going to be a long weekend for you. This setting needs to be able to be toggled from WP CLI

    Hi @aimarv, @welje , @dmiyares ,

Thanks for your report. That definitely should not happen, we apologize for the inconvenience.

As mentioned by @welje , this is a bug related to the settings under SEO > General > Features > Security: no advanced settings for authors. Setting this to “No” is disabling the Advanced settings for all roles on the site.

The bug has been found and fixed. The fix should be included in version 14.2 of the plugin.

    Hi all!

We’re now tagging this thread as resolved as a fix is already on its way. Please make sure to update once Yoast SEO 14.2 is released.

Should you have further questions/concerns, please open a new thread.
