Where did the meta boxes go?

I just installed the latest version of the plugin (3.6.2). I am using WP version 3.5.1.
I had previously used this plugin on a different site and I used the meta boxes to configure the sliders I had on a page. Now, I don’t see the metaboxes using the lastest version. Where did they go? Am I restricted to only using the shortcode with arguments now?
