Where did WordPress Go?

  • I did get WordPress to install and then I upgraded to 4.3. But now I cannot find WordPress anywhere on my computer and when I look at Microsoft Web Platform Installer, WordPress does not show that it was installed. I do have a program named WebMatrix3 that will bring up WordPress2. Is WordPress2 my installation of WordPress?

  • If you are using XAMPP as local server then your wordpress folder should be right inside …xampp/htdocs/ directory..if wamp it would be in…wamp/www/ directory
