    Hi

The email address where I receive iThemes security notifications is a yahoo-dot-com email address. For the last couple of weeks, Yahoo has been bouncing these with an error message:

"554 5.7.9 Message not accepted for policy reasons".

The From: address iThemes is using is the same as the To address, and I strongly believe that Yahoo no longer likes the sender to be unrelated to the domain.

Please can someone advise me where the settings are that iThemes gets the From address it uses for email notifications? How do we set it? I can only find settings for the destination address.

    Regards

I have no idea what Trello is, and am suspicious of being directed to third-party links at this stage without more info. Is Trello the support site of the plugin developers? If not why should I go to this site specifically and not just post here which is the intended support pages for the plugin?

Are you saying this is an issue that the developers know about and a feature that has be requested by others already?

    Regards

Trello is where iThemes has parked their public roadmap for the iThemes Security Pro plugin.
The Security page on iThemes’s website includes a link to the public roadmap on Trello.
(Scroll down to the More Pro Features Coming Soon section).
Trello is used for tracking feature requests and allows you to upvote existing requests (including yours).

Furthermore according to the FAQ section in the iTSec plugin readme.txt file:

= Where can I get help if something goes wrong? =
    * Official support for this plugin is available for iThemes Security Pro customers. Our team of experts is ready to help.

Free support may be available with the help of the community in the www.ads-software.com support forums (Note: this is community-provided support. iThemes does not monitor the www.ads-software.com support forums).

Note on the “iThemes does not monitor the www.ads-software.com support forums” part:
This is not entirely true. iThemes occasionally responds to topics but barely follows up.
Mostly when a new version is released and people report issues they will respond.
Otherwise their presence in this forum is minimal to non existant.

    Hi,

Thanks, but its not yet resolved.

    Hi,

This was likely due to a WordPress Core issue that was resolved in 4.6.1.

    https://core.trac.www.ads-software.com/ticket/37736

    Thanks,

Thanks for your suggestion. I think you may well be correct there. I have updated all the sites on my server to ensure all are running the latest WordPress. The only ones that weren’t until today were a couple of sites that were not live and password protected by .htaccess for experimental purposes. I’ll monitor what goes on, but the other sites which were upgraded a while back seem to have stopped generating the errors at this time. I’ll consider this resolved now.

Many thanks to @dwinden & @gerroald for your input.

    Much appreciated
