We have not added support for this yet because Facebook has just changed how this is handled. We do have support for fb:admins – https://semperplugins.com/documentation/social-meta-module/#profile-admins-id

Yeah, got the same message. I’d like to know when this is fixed.

fb:app_id hasn’t been included in the meta tags. Specify the app ID so that stories shared to Facebook will be properly attributed to the app. Alternatively, app_id can be set in url when open the share dialog. Otherwise, the default app id( 966242223397117 ) will be assigned.

We’re still waiting on Facebook to fix this and issue new documentation.

Hi Team,Just wanna Know Can anyone find the solution of these issue, iam not technical person, just running a Blog .Please assist …?

1st Issue:- fb:app_id hasn’t been included in the meta tags. Specify the app ID so that stories shared to Facebook will be properly attributed to the app. Alternatively, app_id can be set in url when open the share dialog. Otherwise, the default app id( 966242223397117 ) will be assigned.

2nd Issue:- This link is blocked, or you have triggered an excessive amount of scrapes. If you think you’re seeing this by mistake, please let us know.

3rd issue:- Critical Errors That Must Be Fixed- Error Linting URL An internal error occurred while linting the URL.

Has there been any advancement on this? It seems like adding a custom field to the AIO SEO Social Meta Settings shouldn’t be too complicated. Thanks for your time and consideration!

We plan on supporting this new field in the next version of the plugin. However, don’t expect this to fix the errors because we’ve been testing and Facebook still returns errors in their Debug Tool even when you have a valid Facebook Admin ID and a valid Facebook App ID set. It seems their still a ways off fixing the bugs with version 2.5 of their Graph API.

    Dear Steve,

Thanks for quick and thorough reply! I’ll keep an eye out for the next version of the plugin, then. I also wanted to congratulate you and the others at AIO for the amazing work you’ve done with this plugin. You’ve taken the pain out of creating SEO-friendly sites! I am very grateful for your efforts.

I’m having similar troubles. When I try to share my post to Facebook it says ‘Generic Error”. My website is https://www.adventuresofalabornurse.com. Any help is greatly appreciated!

You’re using Jetpack to control your Open Graph meta so you need to post your question in the forums for that plugin or alternatively, use All in One SEO Pack instead for your Open Graph social meta.
