Where do I write my text?

  • Hi, I am trying to add some text to my header in Twenty Thirteen, but I am not sure, where to write the text?

    The installation guide says:
    “Edit a post to add a custom header.”

    Does this mean that I should create a post to put in my text?

  • The plugin only allows you to choose a custom header image, not custom header text.

    With regard to the header text, it only let’s you choose whether to show or hide the default header text on specific pages and which font color to use.

    All of this only works if your theme supports these default WordPress custom header functionality, which for TwentyThirteen should be the case.

    Thanks for the reply, I am wondering why you have to choose between logo OR text both in the Twenty Thirteen theme customization, and all the plugin I have come across.
    Obviously often you want both a logo and a company name.
