• Hello, I am new. I am trying to understand the structure of WP, and have been playing around with a tutorial.

I have twentyten installed. I have uploaded some posts and images.
I want to start over clean, and would rather manually delete everything (so I can further familiarize myself).

I see that images get stored in the “uploads” folder, so I deleted them and they are gone.
But… where do the “Posts” get stored? I know that I can trash them in the Dashboard, but am just wondering if there is a way to manually delete them (just so I know where they get saved on the server).

In fact, even all of my pages still show up when I activate another theme.
What is the correct way to remove all of my content (pages, images, posts, etc) if I want to.
    Thanks in advance, Buffmin

  • Most of your site’s content – including Posts – is stored in your site’s database. Since they are stored across multiple tables, I strongly recommend that you delete your Posts via the WP Admin area.

Got it. I figured that they were probably stored in a database. That answers my question. Thank you very much. Buffmin
