• I am new to WordPress. I just installed WordPress for a company that wishes to use it for internal discussion. We were expecting users to sign on before any content was displayed to them. As it is, they can just access the site and “voila”, here are your blogs for all to see without having to sign on. You can even responde and participate in the discussion without being asked for your user name and password. Am I missing something, please help…

  • You would need to “password protect” your blog, or look at some of the plugins to restrict posts to registered users.

You might want to search the forums for restrict posts to see some of the solutions.

But bear in mind, if it’s on the internet, and not an intranet, you will have to do quite a bit of work to keep it completely “hidden”.
