Where does the backup go?

  • I just installed the plugin and my backup was completed.

    I’m not a savvy tech gal. I have a hard drive plugged into my apple laptop to backup my posts onto the HD, how do I to that? Where is all my data being “backed up” too??

    Also when I click on drop box it asks for my app key and app secret. I’m not sure what this information is?

    Hiya,

    Here’s a link to the video created by the developer of this plug-in. It shows you how to set up the plug-in and then shows you how to set up Drop Box. There is no sound you just have to follow along on the screen.

    One more thing…I opted out of using Dropbox due to unsafe file permissions that must be set in order to make it work.

    You can find your back-ups on your server if you choose not to use Dropbox

    Go to wp-content/upready/backup_(you’ll see your backup date here).zip
