where has ‘add file’ option gone from block in post?

    i need to add a pdf to a post

    i used to hover the cursor over the block and an ‘add file’ icon would show

    now that’s gone there’s only add heading, quote or image

    does anyone know what’s changed?

    Please open the developer tools on your browser and check if you have got any javascript errors.

    Here are the steps to see that:

    1. Open the edit post page where you are trying to add the pdf file
    2. Then Right click on the page anywhere and select ‘Inspect’ or ‘Inspect Element’
    3. A window will popup from bottom or a new tab
    4. Click on ‘Console’ tab in the new window
    5. And then check if you are seeing any red lines in the console

    Add a file block. Type /f on a new line to get to block selection.
