Hi Pyth, Thank you for your interest in the plugin. I didn’t see anything on the screenshot you shared. Maybe that was the point?

Here is an example of some wiki pages:

You use the shortcodes to create wiki links. Are those working for you? The description tab for the plugin discusses this and the FAQ section has some more information. Those sections are the tabs or pages for the plugin here on www.ads-software.com.

    Hi Pyth,

Here are a few steps to create some wiki pages:

    * Add a new wiki page. Give it a title of “First Page” (no quotes).

    * In the content area type “This is the first page.” Add a new line and then click the “Add Wiki Link” button. It is on the top line of buttons, on the right. It looks like two chat bubbles. In the Link field type “Second Page” (no quotes) and in the Show field type “Go to second page”. Now save the page.

    * There is a button under the title that says “View”. Click that and you will see the page you just created. Note that the link to the second page is in red. Because you have priviledges to create and edit you can click that and open a new wiki page editor window. People who don’t have those permissions just see it in red and don’t get the link. Give the article the title “Second Page”. In the content area type “This is the second page.” and on a new line click the “Add Wiki Link” button. In the Link field type “First Page” (no quotes) and in the Show field type “Go to the first page”. Now save the page.

This should give you an idea of how to create wiki type links. You can read on the the Description of the plugin page some more info and you can check out the FAQ tab as well. Hope this helps.

    I don’t understand your example, https://www.davidmccan.com/wiki/learning-chess-wiki/ David.

None of the links seem to work and the sidebar doesn’t seem to be showing recent wiki pages etc.

    Hi Simon,

Sorry it was not helpful. I added the sidebar TOC widget and made the active wiki links blue.

The red links are ones where the author put a link, but there is no article. If you are logged in with the rights to edit then those red links are active and take you to the wiki editor page where you can create the missing article.

    Regards,

    David
