where is “Favor Local Images” option?

    Hello…

    All my images are loaded form cdninstagram.com . I read in the forum that i need to make sure that Favor Local Images is enabled. I can’t find that setting. I am running Smash Balloon Instagram Feed v 6.2.7

    I can see the local images are “synced” in /wp-content/uploads/sb-instagram-feed-images/ . ( heicthumb | heiclow | heicfull } . { jpeg | webp }

    Hi @fabricelaborie,

    Thank you for contacting us! Sorry for any confusion, that setting is used in older versions of our plugin, but currently you can go to WordPress Dashboard > Instagram Feed > Settings > Advanced and ensure that Optimize Images and JavaScript Image Loading are enabled. You can also go to the Feeds tab of the settings page and set GDPR to Yes to make the plugin not use CDN images.

    If this does not resolve the issue, please send a link to the page where you are displaying the Instagram feed and we will investigate further.
