    Where is Google Analytics setup configured?
    We have the yoast plugin (basic) but the Google ID is blank there, but it IS in the html (see below), so is configured somewhere. Can it be turned off?

    <!-- Global Site Tag (gtag.js) - Google Analytics --><script async src="https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtag/js?id=UA-redacted"></script>
    <script> window.dataLayer = window.dataLayer || []; function gtag(){dataLayer.push(arguments)}; gtag('js', new Date());
    gtag('config', 'UA-redacted');</script>

  • You cannot recognize the origin from this HTML code alone. I would recommend deactivating all plugins as a test and then activating them individually until the output reappears. Then you should have found the culprit plugin.

    But that is a time consuming process. More info would help reduce the time.
    We do not see any plugin that claims Google Analytics capabilities.
    Does basic Wp or Woo Woo have?

    I don’t know what you mean by “Wp” and “Woo Woo”. WordPress doesn’t have anything like that built in.

    Please show a complete list of your active plugins, then maybe someone could tell you something about it. This can also be set via the theme. Which one do you use?

    To test my tip above, you can also install the Health Check & Troubleshoot plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/ – there is a mode in which you can deactivate all plugins in one go, just for you, just to test it.

    Nice if you were able to find it. You are welcome to set the topic to solved.
