We are receiving too much “site lockout notifications”. in new iThemes updates, I no longer find the setting anywhere to disable those notifications, or even change the frequency to once in every 2 weeks or so.
Please tell me exactly where is that setting? under “notifications” menu, i see nothing: https://imgsh.net/a/xcdJKUC.png

Hi @ttodua, thank you for reaching out. Could you please ensure that you use the latest iThemes Security version? It looks like something on your site is conflicting with the plugin. Have you tried checking for a plugin/theme conflict? Does the issue occur if only the iTSec plugin is activated and using a default theme?

Hi, thanks for reply, you might be right, on another site it works.
But, I would say that, it’s not good that there is no option on that page, to totally disable notifications (or at least, disable some kind of notifications, like “someone locked out from website” or etc). this is regress what you have done from old iThemes versions (where there were such options in the past).

    Hi @ttodua,

Not sure what you are referring to, but once the NOTIFICATIONS page starts behaving/rendering on your site, under (submenu) Site Lockouts, you should expect to see settings like:

    Enabled, Subject and Recipient

And under (submenu) Security Digest, you should expect to see settings like:

    Enabled, Subject, Schedule and Recipient

It seems to me that in order to lower/stop the high number of site lockout notifications you would need to disable the Site Lockouts notification and enable the Security Digest notification.

Perhaps resetting permalinks helps rendering the NOTIFICATIONS page properly.

Otherwise check for any errors in the browser console.

In case you wish to view/release active lockouts, navigate to:

    Security > Dashboard

    Add/Use the Active Lockouts card.
