  • Hi there,

it is possible your Home is set to display your latest blog posts. In that case, there is no page that you can edit, and it depends on your theme how you will be able to modify home and what displays on it.

IF you need a static page for your homepage, where you can control your content. go to Settings -> Reading in your WordPress dashboard and set “Front page displays” to “A static page”, then select which page should be used as your home page.

Hi to you, and thanks so much for responding; I did what you said, but in the drop down boxes, “Front Page” and “Posts Page”, “Home” does not appear, even though it appears on my menu bar on the site and does open when you click on it….but as it doesn’t appear in the dropdown boxes, I can’t choose it to change it to a static page….thanks for your help, if you do happen to have any other ideas let me know….

Hi, Me again, I think I figured it out; you have to select an existing page to be your home page….so I tried that and it worked, it showed up when I clicked “home” on the bar….so I guess I just have to edit that page to add to the home page…ok, well, I will just keep playing around here til I figure it all out, again, thanks!
