Where is my sitemap located?

It depends on what plugin you are using to create and maintain the sitemap.

I am using Yoast plugin.

Then it’s a file called sitemap_index.xml. I think that “file” is generated on the fly by Yoast.

Do you know if i had some manual pages to add to a sitemap file how i could do that or where does yoast pull the references from for the pages on the fly?
