    Hello.
In advance, I’m sorry for the really dumb question.
I’m new to wordpress, and trying to install CF7 on a simple contact form, as well the response form on a \weblog page.

    On the page:
    https://contactform7.com/getting-started-with-contact-form-7/
The CF7 installation instructions say either
“Paste the code you copied into the contents of the page.”
Where is “into the contents of the page” ??

    OR, it says,
    selector block for Block Editor.”
Which I cannot find either (perhaps it’s an add on itself?).

I’m interested in the simplest, quickest, minimal solution.
Thank you for your help in advance.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

In that doc, “page” means WordPress Page.

In a page editor screen, you can use the “Contact Form 7” block with the mountain icon.

    Thank you.
    After finding this video

I realized I had installed “contact form 7″ instead of contact form 7 recaptcha” plugin.
I installed the latter and kept the former.

So now I have these questions:
    1. Which contact form do I actually have? CF7 or the one that came with the “theme” template I copied?

    2. If they are different, which contact-form is the one I should have for the recaptcha function?

    3. Do I have to use gooogle to generate the site key? I do not have a google account and prefer not to create one.

After learning a bit more, it is clear that the correct choice is hCaptcha. We can consider this thread closed.
