Where is the definitive guide to RTMP & shortcodes using this plugin?

I am looking for a clear, definitive guide to setting up RTMP streaming with fallback using shortcodes on my WordPress site, but I cannot find the information!

None of the articles I found, including the offical guides, explicitly answers the following basic questions:

What are all the JW Player Plugin shortcode options, what exactly do they do and how should they be combined for various scenarios (Fallback, RTMP etc?
How do I set up an RTMP player that will play and fallback on all Desktop and IOS devices?
Where is a worked example of what exactly I have to do to set up an RTMP player that will play and fallback on all Desktop and IOS devices?
When setting up multiple versions at different bitrates, what are the typical bitrates we shoudl use and what are the shortcode parameters we should use?

Does this information exist anywhere? I could not find it so far.
