• I’m using the Elisium theme. I had to reload and rebuild my site (I backed up and saved the files on my hard drive), and it would be much easier if I could access the HTML I wrote in the “Edit Page” section, but I have no idea where to find it. Can anyone help?

  • Do you have a database backup?

I copied all of the files from the server to my hard drive, so I’ll say yes.

No. A database backup will not have been automatically included in an WordPress files that you may have downloaded. You have to actually create the backup file yourself – either manually or using a plugin.

One should always back up their database before an upgrade or theme change using a plugin or manually, as esmi stated above.

If a backup of your website is not done correctly before you update or change themes, files can be lost.

Information on backing up your websites files can be found in the WordPress Codex.
