Where is the member login?

Membership uses the standard WordPress login system so it doesn’t provide any log in form instead uses default WordPress log in form to let members log in.

There are many plugins/code solution like following that will help you to put the login form in a page but as Membership is really only concerned with access to content and registration.

I just spent a couple of hours wondering the exact same thing.

Surely the plugin would be better and more rounded with a simple login shortcode added? Placing this on a page would add a login form.

Too much to ask?

Thanks for your suggestion! In fact, the premium version does include a login widget to help with that.

Theme My Login is incredibly popular and just downright awesome for most cases! There’s also BuddyPress, which is a full social communication plugin, but has extensive front-end login/registration features too:
