In prior versions, there was a button to ‘Make permanent blocked IPs’ – where did this option go? I don’t want to go to Tools, Filter, Blocked, then click on every IP.

    Thanks,

    Chris

  • Hi @annasgourmetgoodies,

All IP addresses that have been blocked by the Firewall will be listed on the “Blocking” page; from there you can select IPs by ticking the corresponding checkbox and then hit the “Make Permanent” button.

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks wfyann – but I can’t find the ‘Blocking’ page in v7.0.5 of Wordfence. If I go to Tools, Live Traffic, I can filter for ‘blocked’ – but there is no option to either check IPs or make permanent.

Perhaps you are referring to the previous version? If not, can someone please direct me to the option to do this in the current free version.

    Hi @annasgourmetgoodies,

In Wordfence 7 you can find Blocked IPs under “Firewall –> Blocking”. If you prefer to have a link to Blocking in the left navigation as it used to be in earlier versions of Wordfence:

    1. On the “Blocking” page click “Blocking Options”
    2. In the “General” section of this page select “Display top level Blocking menu option”
    3. Click to “Save Changes”

You can now access the blocking page from Wordfence main navigation.
