  • When you installed WP on your server you uploaded a lot of files to your FTP. You need to login to your FTP and you will see a “wp-content” folder… inside that is the plugins folder.

    That advice is for those who installed WP on their server and therefore would have files they can upload to. what about those who have it as part of their hosting and cannot see the wp_content foleder to upload to?

    You have one of 2 choices — you either use whatever file manager your host provides, IF it allows you to upload, OR you use whatever ftp access your host has set up.

    Theres no other way around this. You either have that access, or you dont.

    If you HAVE the access and you cannot locate the directory, perhaps your host does some kind of special install, in which you pro’ly ought to speak to them.
