Where is unsubscribe request recorded?

I have set up the unsubscribe as describe in the instructions and do see a clickable link in the received email. When unsubscribe link is clicked, the unsubscribed page I set up opens in browser, with the unsubscribe message I included.
The problem is that I don’t see anything changed in the admin. The user is still in the list I used to send the email. How do I know that someone has requested to be unsubscribed? How is the admin notified of a unsubscribe request? Where is it recorded so that the user is removed from future emails? Is something suppose to show up in the Manage Unsubscribe List in the List Manager?
