Sorry, just found it is named as wp_1_options?
    Thanks,

The options tables are specific to each blog, so with the second one it will be wp_2_options and so on.

If you’re changing the domain of the install, you’ll need to change it in more places than that. I usually do a search to get them all.

    Hi Andrea,
I will really appreciate if you could help me out in this I did try to shift the main domain and change the settings manually where necessary, but when I try to login to the Admin panel it redirects to the old domain instead even though the client side works fine.
The subdomains are not important for me to retain in this case and can live even without them.

@tanver then login to phpmyadmin and search there for the old domain name.

Hi Andrea, I have done this manually in wp_1_options table and have replaced all the instances I could find, but to no avail.
Samuel, I am unable to access the Admin panel of the new domain so don’t think can install or use this plugin?

Another thing just came in my mind what if I do the following
1: backup existing database pointing to olddomain.com
2: using the search-and-replace plugin change all the things to point towards the new domain
3: take the back and restore it to the database created for the newdomain.com blog
4: restore the database for the olddomain.com

    Think it will succeed?

Hi Andrea, I have done this manually in wp_1_options table and have replaced all the instances I could find, but to no avail.

You need to look in *other tables*. the reason I haven’t listed them all is because there are many.

    So yes, do this:

1: backup existing database pointing to olddomain.com
2: using the search-and-replace plugin change all the things to point towards the new domain
3: take the back and restore it to the database created for the newdomain.com blog
4: restore the database for the olddomain.com

Whenever I try to access this domain legalbloggers.co.uk it redirects to
https://legisblogs.co.uk/wp-signup.php?new=legalbloggers.co.uk, which is like it is attempting to create a sub-domain to the old domain.

That means it can’t find records of legalbloggers.co.uk in the database.

The site_whatever tables in the db do not refer to individual sites, they refer to the *network*. Look in those tables.

What I did to find and replace is
I export the database tables and then have edited that SQL file to find and replace all the references to the old domain. But am out of luck even then.

I am trying to install a fresh copy of the WP3.0 on Psek using – 2nd copy for the same account, in an addon domain – The problem is that I can not use the Root folder and have to use a directory, but want to retain the URL as https://www.mainblog.com, would appreciate any help if I can achieve this? and how to setup redirection for this which seems to be the only option.
    Thanks,

If you’re using an add-on domain, you won’t be able to use wildcard subdomains.

It is RESOLVED and am able to use Wildcard domain Redirection fro my Addon domains as well, for an installation hosted on Psek. I did confirm them again and they say you can setup such redirection on any of your’s Addon domain with a redirection like *.domain.com –> domain.com yourself, and the other configuration options will be setup automatically.
Looks like something new and exciting on offer by Psek ppl?
    Main Domain: https://legisblogs.co.uk, [Configured Sub-domain Domain] https://timbishop.legisblogs.co.uk

    Addon Domain:https://legalbloggers.co.uk, [Configured Sub-domain Domain] https://timbishop.legalbloggers.co.uk

    TIA
