where on the dashboard do you specify your rss url?

  • Hi,

    I have read the documentation about the variosu rss feed urls that you can have for your site eg https://www.yoururl.com/wp-rss2.php

    But when I can’t find anywhere where you specify what option you want on the wp dashboard.

    And when I look at the template, the area on the sidebar that inserts the url is:

    <?php bloginfo(‘rss2_url’); ?>

    which gives me the impression that the url for your rss feed is supposed to be specified somewhere on the dashboard…

    Any help appreciated!

    Sorry I realise that it is working, I simply needed to put:

    url.com/blog/wp-rss2.php

    instead of

    url.com/wp-rss2.php

    as WP is in a subdirectory

    The other question is whether its best to choose rss or ss2 or atom? I chose rss2 as it was the one in the template
