• Hi guys,

    Have inherited this site and am not in contact with the previous programmer.

    I can’t find where to edit the code to change the #banner feature on this site.

    Here is the attribute I need to edit:

    #banner
    	{
    /*	width: 1001px; */
    	height: 658px;
    	margin: 0 auto;
    	overflow: hidden;

    	background: url(https://ricklangmaack.com/wp-content/themes/rick2014/images/rl_banners/rl2014_music.jpg) top center no-repeat;
    	z-index: -1;
    	}

    I wish to add a different photo at the bottom of the page, in particular the https://www.ricklangmaack.com/music. I know I just need to change the .jpg that is referenced above, but WHERE? I can’t see any reference to it in the editor, php or otherwise.

    Thanks in advance

  • The CSS style is located in the <head> part of the document. I expect it is in header.php

    Try downloading the entire theme directory. Recursively search the folder for #banner using a nice text editor like Sublime text 2.

    Is it a child theme? Perhaps the code you seek is in the parent?
