  • Hi Derek,

Thanks for reaching out. WCMp supports the French language all you need here to activate the language.

But please note that all language files apart from English are created by community members and are accepted, considering that they are 100% correct but we cannot guarantee the same. In case you find missing strings, do let us know.

Moving to how you could translate to French, I would like to inform that be it WooCommerce or WCMp just follow the below mentioned path and translate your site from English to any preferred language.

Wp-admin >> Settings >> General >> Site Language : You can select your preferred language from the drop-down.

Hope the shared information will be helpful.

    Regards,
    Rimpa

    Hello Derek,

Thank you very much for your response, my site is working properly, beside some words that aren’t yet translated.

@depaq67- Glad to know that the issue has been fixed now. Seems like the French language files we received has some untranslated strings. Can you help me to take care of those, if yes I shall share the steps to work this out.

    Awaiting your response.

    Regards,
    Sandeep

Yeah sure but if we need coding skills to translate some strings I won’t be much help. Will the translations will update in my site as I translate them and will the frontend of the plugin will be translated too?
    Thanks,
    Derek

Thanks for the steeping up Derek, do not worry all you need to know for this task is the French language which unfortunately I don’t know. Here is the user guide which should help you through- https://wc-marketplace.com/knowledgebase/wcmp-translation-guide/. Do let me know, if you have any questions.

Coming to your queries, you should be able to translate the WCMp sections in frontend too. To add these changes to your site, you would need to place the replace .po and .mo files within the Language folder inside the plugin. You should be able to access this via the file manager( cPanel) or something along the same lines.

    Sandeep

    Hi Sandy,
I’ve translated a good part of the file, how can I send it to you so you can share with other users? But, there is still some strings a can’t translate.
    Derek

That’s a great news Derek. Kindly upload the .po and .mo file on Google Drive and share the access link here.

If the link doesn’t work, I will change some little things so it works !
    Derek

    It works ??

Thanks a lot Derek. You can either wait for the next update with the modified language files or you can replace the files via the file manager(cPanel). The path for the same would be /wp-content/plugins/dc-woocommerce-multi-vendor/languages.

    Regards,
    Sandeep
