Where to find Reference Documentation for older WP Versions?

    Older online doc versions are not retained. You’d have to rely upon a 3rd party archive like Wayback Machine. However, there is limited inline documentation within WP source code. Old version source code is kept here. Here you can compare the differences between various versions. If you can determine the appropriate revision numbers for your comparison, use the “View diff against” field to see a highlighted diff between revisions.
