In the mailer tab, there is a field for the email message. You do not have to use the summary tag.

    Hi Josh,
    Thank you for your reply.
Sorry but I didn’t find any parameter for that in the mailer tab.
I have a french version and may be it is the reason I don’t have the parameter.
Please could you send me an example of the mailer parameters you have on your english version to compare.
    Thank you.

    Hi Josh,
I have by default the {summary} tag on the content message which is correct.
In fact I receive two messages:
    – one for the receiving message, which summary is correct
    – second the auto-responder message for the admin which is in english e.g. :
    Hi Soulé Jacques.
    Thanks for your email.
We’ll get get back to you as soon as possible!
Here’s a summary of your message:
followed by the email content message
To clarify I am speaking about this english message.

I see, that is the default, if no message is set, that is used. It’s not translatable or filterable, which is bad and I will fix (https://github.com/Desertsnowman/Caldera-Forms/issues/230).

That said, as long as you have a message there, you will not end up with the fallback.

I could be referring to either of these, depending on if you are using the main mailer, or the auto-responder:

    Hi Josh,
    Thank you for your reply.
I add an auto-response with translation and it works for the main mailer.
    But I receive three e-mail:
    1) the main mailer, which is OK,
    2) the auto-response translated in French, which is OK,
    3) and the auto-response in english from Site admin, which is not correct.
What is this admin e-mail and why I receive it?
    Regards,
    Jacques

    Hi Josh,
    Sorry it works.
I found out that I have two different auto-response set up on treatment, one translated and one in english which is the auto-response by default.
Then I deleted the english auto-response.
    Regards,
    Jacques
