    the code that you got from StatCunter.com will need to inputted into the PHP code for the pages you want to keep tabs on. So, it looks like maybe you “index.php” and other pages …

    It would work best to place it at the bottom of the PHP file so it does not mess with anything else.

    I could be wrong, but I know I used the above approach in regular HTML files of sites that I have created or assisted with. Should be the same for WP too.

    I use statcounter and add the code into the footer.php file in the template you are using… just before the </body> tag

    I like to put mine in the header file. I have mine, just to track, without a visible counter, and putting it in my header, anywhere between <head> </head> causes no problems.

    I put it in the footer.php like Dickie said ,

    I made it invisible, becaus i’m the only one that has to know howmuch visitors i get.
