Where to put the 302 redirect

I have an indexed page. Not that it has a lot of traffic, but I was told that the url is way too long. So I want to shorten it to a selected keyword. BUT by doing so, I will lose the existing traffic. I use Yoast SEO but I don’t think I can use that redirect because of it’s location. It would redirect that page to itself (i think). So my question is wherr should I put this redirect? I am not a super whiz when it comes to coding but I think I can hold my own. Any help be appreciated. Oh yes the url is : https://www.effectivehairremoval.net/before-you-spend-money-on-laser-hair-removal-watch-this-video/ and it will hopefully be changed to https://www.effectivehairremoval.net/homehairremoval
