where to upload video to find it in media

Hi Christeas.. One way you could show a video in your wordpress is to upload the video to your youtube account. Then you just click on the share button under the video in youtube and copy the link into your wordpress page or post.

Thanks, but I want to avoid Utube.

Self hosting video is problematic… but…

Are you trying to upload through ftp?
Some time ago I had success doing that, and using this plugin to get WP to recognize the uploads

But then you need a video player

I used that a LONG time ago to display a self hosted video

Usually all media files are uploaded at the folder located here

wp-content/uploads/

If you are uploading using FTP software, you will have to locate the folder above.

Thank you all for your time and help. I used ftp to upload the video 25mb
to wp-content/uploads/ but it does not show up when I go to media. The same results with add from server.
