Where to start with new template?

  • Hey everyone,

    I am very experienced with html and css, and have some experience with php, but none with wordpress.

    I have a design that I want to implement but I haven’t a clue where to start with integrating it. The deign I have is here: https://www.farstyle.com/2008/

    Does this look like a feasible design to be working with?

    What files do I need to edit? I have seen the default theme folder and tried messing with the header file but to be honest I don’t know what I can and can not remove.

    I’m assuming the php has to stay where it is but there are a load of divs which I’m not sure if I should start messing about with? Can they all be deleted?
