• Has Justin sold this plugin to someone who will yank the rug out from under it?

If so, has anyone forked Justin’s last version yet?

Looks like version 2.1.0 is the one we want. Grab it before the new owner removes it.

    Hi @techtests,

We did acquire the Members plugin from Justin. We actually just released a new update to the plugin, but it does not remove any of the functionality you’re used to. In fact, we’ve released all of the premium add-ons and integrations completely free, and included them in the core plugin.

You’re free to use a previous version, but you’ll find that the newest version includes a much simpler UI (we consolidated the settings into one admin menu), more features, and hopefully a better user experience.

Let us know if you have any questions.

    All the best,

So what is the equivalent of the former

    Enable the content permissions feature

    . ?

In the ‘simple’ UI it is not visible that some options are not free and require to update to MemberPress Pro. In fact every site where I have the ‘enable content permissions’ enabled in the old version it now shows a “Update to MemberPress Pro” in the editor in the location where the user-access selection used to be!
