Which file contains WordPress Comments code?

    I’m wondering if the file having the Comments code is messed up, and would like to know which file contains the Comments code and how to get it to work properly.

    I’ve got Comments working on one page only, the About Me page. All other pages have no ability to leave Comments on a page, yet all pages have the Comments section (Add a comment) in the Edit mode.

    Discussion settings the same for all pages, including the one page with a working Comments section.

    Why one page has ability to display/receive Comments and not the other pages when all pages have the same settings is really confusing.

    I had the wp-customer-review plugin installed but removed that plugin so visitors could Comment instead of leaving a Review. But alas, no Comments appear.

    Perplexing.
