    Hello,

Basically I would like for my adsense ads to appear in every post that I write. And so I’ve installed AdSense-Deluxe, I have the code that I must input into one of the .php template pages, but which one ? I would for it to appear just after the line that says “This entry was posted on …”

Could someone please tell me which file contains that line, or what I should do to make it show my adsense ads on every post at that particular space.

    Thanks in advance !

  • Can you send a URL to your site so we can look at it? It’s probably in the file named index.php.

The blog is set up on a LAN, so you can’t access it from the outside. But isn’t wordpress the same for everyone ? I mean, you can look through your installation. I really hope you could help me out.

By the way, doesn’t wordpress have a real support center ? I mean, it’s not always that the community would like to help or even know how to help. Can’t those that have written the code for wordpress help out ? I know it will be easy for them because they wrote the system, and know how it operates.

PS. The index.php file contains 5 lines of code, one of them is a require() function calling wp-blog-header.php. I checked that file too, but it’s not there either.

You want the index.php file in your current theme. Without knowing which theme you’re using, it’s difficult for anyone to give you more precise advice than that.

I see. You could’ve just asked for that. ??

Anyway, I’m using the default them, and finally found out which file I need to change. Now it’s working just fine.

Thank you for taking the time to read my posts.

    Regards,

PS. I didn’t have to edit the index file, but rather the comments.php file. Anyway, thanks again.

    please mark resolved : )

LOL yeah, actually, I just noticed that I could’ve set it as unresolved when it still wasn’t. But the default option is set to Not a support question.

    Yeah, whatever…
