I reached a bit of WordPress core files, and would like to know which files are affected by an update, you have to do it again, so to speak. ??

Thx Krishna, but this not helped me.
I need the list from the modified files…
    You know, wp-login.php,wp-footer.php, etc…

You could always download the 3.5.2 and 3.6 files and diff the two directories on the command line yourself.

The list will be published of the 357 files modified but when there is a major version list but having that list will not be that valuable. It’s not like the differences between 3.5.1 and 3.5.2, it’s a lot.

If you’ve modified core files and plan to make that work in 3.6 then you’re going to be in for a disappointment. LOTS has changed and just trying to incorporate your change will probably breaks something badly.

Edit: If the changed files list does get published the I am pretty sure it will be located at https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Version_3.6 which is one of the links Krishna provided you with already…

    hmm thx for the repspone…
I’d like to update, just i very fear my work is destroyed…
some new function for my wordpress example:
Embed post page and comment links in lightbox(example: chek out this site, and if click this link show the site in lightbox)..
fletching youtube links in comment to the Iframe(looks like facebook).
embed youtube videos in lightbox to the comment.
    Login with loginbox everywhere.
Yeah,i’m crazy, i modified the login link everywhere!:D
and this just a begin for my feature…
A little list my modifid files:
    post-new.php,admin-footer.php,wp-admin.css(backgrund and style),wp-admin.min.css,comment-tamplate.php,and more..
However I know that a lot of vulnerability in this version will be corrected and it is very attractive to me.
    I’m a little puzzled.

Aaaannd that’s why it’s really not recommended that anyone modify core WordPress files. Your changes will either get wiped out (best case scenario) or your WordPress installation will just stop working and deliver 500 error messages. Or you’ll make/have made your installation insecure. X(

Modifying WordPress core files is always a bad idea.

I suggest you make a full backup of your entire installation and then consider upgrading and see if it works.

    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/WordPress_Backups
    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Backing_Up_Your_Database
    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Restoring_Your_Database_From_Backup

Make sure you get all the files and that the database backup contains everything (all tables and all databases).

If your changes were just cosmetic then it ought to work. It your site goes up in flames (hopefully not!) then with that backup you can put it all back to it’s previous state.
