Which function does Fast Secure Contact Form use to send emails ?

    Hello,
    I need to make sure that Fast Secure Contact Form uses php mail function to send emails, and if not does it uses a “POP before SMTP” authentication ? In this last case, I’ll need to know how to enable “SMTP authentication with password” with Fast Secure Contact Form (according to what says an error message coming from my host).

  • Hi this plugin allows you to choose which method you want to use to send your messages. If you want to use SMTP, check the following URL.

    I just checked the URL you made a link to. Just to make sure I understand well, can you confirm that by default Fast Secure uses the php mail() function ?

    Yes it uses mail() function but you must select PHP under Advanced -> Advanced Email Settings -> Send Email function:. By default is set to use wordpress function.
