Which image settings do I change, media settings or wc product images?

Im trying to correct the pixelation to my products pages. I know that my media settings are a bit large 150 x 150 for some of my product images causing them to become pixelated, so I tried reducing the width in both the media settings and the woocommerce>product>display>image setting to about 110 x 110 but after rerunning Regenerate I still get the same issue. Some of the images are very narrow, less than 100px and I am ok with slight pixelation on those images because the majority of my products are larger than 100px. Am I missing something in the settings or am I adjusting the wrong setting all together? Also can any one tell me why the natural size of my product images are much smaller in dimension on the product page than the image is when it is initially uploaded? It takes a large image 1364px x 2876px and reduces the natural size to 56px x 112px for the product page. Any thoughts?
