• hello
    I’ve recently installed the new v1.0.2 on my server and would like to import my old entries over.
    My blog’s ‘history’ is as follows…
    b2 0.61 -> wp 0.073
    I’ve made a backup copy of my integrated ‘b2-wp 0.073’ using the plugin WP Backup/Restore old version. It has generated a copy of file.sql which I’ve saved.
    Later I installed the new v1.0.2 in a new directory, installed the WP Backup/Restore new version. Proceeded to upload my file.sql into the backup dir in the new directory, clicked on “Restore Database”. The file generated said everything was good, however this was not reflected in my index.php When I checked my mysql database, I’ve got new tables generated under the name of ‘b2…’ instead. The posts were not posted in the tables of ‘wp…’
    I tried using the methods mentioned in the README file of the wp-installation using both the ‘upgrade.php’ and ‘import-b2.php’ none of which works.
    How do I get my backup files into my new wp dir & database?

  • Not sure but did you check the file size of the .sql file to see if it actually backed up any data?
    Its a long shot, but it happened to me when using an old version of the WP backup hack… It was fixed after upgrading to the current version of the hack.
    sorry I could be more help on this one…
    Good Luck.
    Joe.
