    It seems to me that if you’re already using Yoast, then you already have a plugin that does sitemaps, so why install another?

    @sterndata I’m using YOAST for SEO, but not using the YOAST sitemap. this is just a simple question with some explanation. The Google XML Sitemap totally memory is high for low content and I think google bots will take more time to re-crawl my websites when asking too.

    As site map is a site map. If you have Yoast then use that. Also here’s why you may not want to use the other one based on your experience.

    Use the one you want.

    Google XML is different with Yoast SEO, especially the function. Basically, Google XML sitemaps its for indexing, while the Yoast SEO is to optimise your content.
