    which is the last version that works on wordpress 4.9?
    There is no mention of this in the changelog on github!!
    ( ClassicPress forked form WP 4.9, and since CP gives a lot more flexibility and user friendliness, quite a bunch of us prefer it, and won’t use WP )

    Hi oakleaf101,

    I double checked with Shane on this who mentioned that for your question on imsanity with the same thing, you may actually want to try the latest version of the plugin. It’s very possible it could work. That having been said, 4.7.2 was the last version to officially support WP 4.9. You can get access to that specific version here: https://github.com/nosilver4u/ewww-image-optimizer/releases?page=6
