Which one is 'the right way'?

I have a static front page and menu entry which redirects to the (myBlog) page showing the posts. I’d like to list the posts in the myBlog page using the Ajax Load More plugin and these are some of the possibilities that come on my mind:
a) Inserting the Ajax Load More shortcode in the index.php of the child theme
b) Creating home.php in the child theme which will override index.php and inserting the Ajax Load More shortcode in home.php
c) Creating a static page containing the Ajax Load More shortcode and creating the menu entry to that static page
Which of above is considered to be ‘the right way’ or is there another better way of doing what I’ve described?
