Which option is better for website admin

  • Hello,

    Which option is better for the “Admin” username?
    1. Completely delete this [admin] username and don’t register it.
    2. Register the admin username and suspense it as a user.

    Recommendation is highly appreciated.

    Thank you for your reply. But the one who wants to hack a website might use any username as long as I am using buddypress or bbpress. So what is the point of deleting the admin username?

    Automated (hacking) bots try authentication with the “admin” username because it was once the default and still persists on a lot of websites.
