    Hi @govisola

Changing your permalinks settings can seriously impact your search engine visibility.

    Adding category in permalink:

If you decide to use categories in your permalink structure, make sure that you only select one category per post.

Whether changing permalink structure will be good for your site:

We are not familiar with your site so it is difficult for us to choose which is the best permalink structure for your site.

Your question is a bit outside the scope of our support. The support team is here to help you with questions about the setup and basic use of the plugin. As much as we’d love to help, deciding the correct permalink structure for your site is beyond what we can do for our users.

    What we recommend:

At Yoast, we recommend using a simple and clear permalink structure. In general, we advise that you make sure your permalink structure is properly set before avidly writing posts. If you do decide to change your permalink structure over time, kindly make sure you properly redirect users from the old structure to the new one.

    Hello @611shabnam

thank you for your reply. I asked you this question because in a permnalink-related topic I started lately a colleague of you wrote this: “We highly recommend you use just?/%postname%/?for your site structure”.

You are now telling my that you don’t recommend any particular permalink structure. It is only up to me.

    So now I am confused.

    Best regards
