    I was hunting down data tables from another plugin when I noted that I have a LOT of tables in my db that were created by plugins that I have uninstalled, because they just weren’t what I needed.

    So I’m trying to clean up the database and drop unused tables – but only if I’m sure they’re not needed.

    In particular, I’m looking for which plugin created wp_abs_* tables, but would like to know if there is a registry somewhere that associates tables with plugins … so I could look up other relationships in the future.

    Does such a thing exist? If so, where?

    Thanks in advance!

    Which plugin created wp_abs_ tables in my db?

    But you have not listed what plugins you have installed.

    If you can list all plugins you use, MAY BE somebody may identify the plugin

    @sitecrafters – Check out https://plugintests.com/. It’s a good resource for searching specific DB entries to see what the plugin is that’s associated with it.

    @boybawang ,

    the outside site you recommended clearly states at their page:

    Find out if a plugin works with the latest version of WordPress.

    That’s not what OP is trying to find out!

    Unless I’m missing a something, I don’t see any point in sending the OP to that outside site!!!

    @t-p You must not have checked out the site! In the top menu is the Identifier Search. When you go there, you’re able to search for ‘Options’ or ‘Tables’, which is what OP is looking for. For example, if you search for the option aioseo_options_dynamic_localized, it will tell you that the plugin for that option is “All in One SEO – Best WordPress SEO Plugin – Easily Improve SEO Rankings & Increase Traffic“. If you search for specific tables, it’ll tell you which plugin used/created those tables.

    @boybawang okay, then please search for wp_abs_ tables and tell the OP which plugin is it?
