which port needs to open for automatically upgrade?

  • install wordpress on CENTOS 8 and open port 80 and 443 only.

    Wordpress has been running perfectly except can’t upgrade plugin and theme automatically.

    After shut down firewall, automatical upgrade starts to work.

    Hence, assume need to open specific port for wordpress automatical upgrade, but didn’t find answer from internet.

    Anyone can direct me?

    You have to permit outgoing connections to port 443

    Thanks, but firewall didn’t block outgoing connection via port 443. Actually all outgoging connections allowed
