Which post views stats are more precise?

    Hi everyone,

    I use the Newspaper theme from TagDiv which has a post view counter via AJAX already integrated. I also use WP Popular Posts to display the most popular posts per day. The post views stats have always been different between the view counter of the theme and the view counter from WP Popular Posts. I didn’t really care much but I wanted to compare the post views to the amount of articles every author posts, so I now need the more precise view count stats. Do you know if WP Popular Posts has the more precise views stats or the build in function of the theme?

    Hey Till,

    Some time ago I wrote this in response to another user with a similar question. It probably won’t answer your question but I believe you should read it nonetheless.

    Additionally, the Newspaper theme is a paid one so there’s no way to know how it tracks visits unless you buy it – and I won’t buy a theme just so I can answer a question, I don’t have that kind of money ??

    Hopefully another user might read this and give you their impression about WPP vs other solutions.
