What is the set of country codes used by this plugin, please?

At first I thought it might be ISO 3166 but it’s not, so I thought it might be the IANA Internet country domains list, but it’s not that. (The easy test on both is that the United Kingdom is ‘UK’ but the plugin uses ‘GB’.)

Since it is possible to go very wrong unless these are stated correctly, I’m surprised the list used is not referenced on the documentation page.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Good question.

Maxmind’s documentation is saying that it is “A two-character ISO 3166-1 country code for the country associated with the IP address.” (https://dev.maxmind.com/geoip/geoip2/web-services/)

Which data source are you using?

Interesting. I’m using Maxmind GeoIP Lite City. And that’s where the code is coming from?

Aha, I’ve just looked up 3166-1 and I see that GB is the appropriate code for United Kingdom. That’s a change from 3166.

Thank you for your help, I now know the list ??
