which ‘start date’ is used in drip when none is set in course

    Hi LifterLMS,

    just looking for a definition of ‘start date’ with regards to ‘drip method’: ‘after course start date’

    i have NOT set a ‘start date’ or ‘end date’ in course settings, so what would be used in this instance?

    I’m hoping that ‘start date’ is set when a user accesses the first lesson of the course… is this true?

    [i enrol students in multiple courses in one go using a membership but would like drip to available when they start each course in turn!]

    If no “start date” is configured for a course in the restriction settings then the “start date” for dripped delays and content will be the date when the student enrolls into the course. This is slightly different than your hope (“when a user accesses the first lesson of the course”) but should prove generally similar unless your students tend to enroll and not return for a large period of time before starting the course (accessing the first lesson).
